About me

Final Year Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Science BSc (Hons) student at De Montfort University, Leicester with strong interests in formulation, product safety, quality assurance and quality control.

Experienced in working in clinical and retail settings, with a great understanding of laboratory procedures and pharmaceutical regulations. Adaptable and eager to contribute to a team, therefore, highly motivated to gain experience through a summer role or industrial placement within the pharmaceutical or cosmetics sector.

  1. Pharmacy Assistant — Medina Chemist, Nottingham

    Managed stock, ordering, and inventory control. Conducted health checks (diabetes, blood pressure, BMI). Advised patients on OTC medicines, multivitamins, creams, shampoos, and personal care products.

  2. Warehouse Operative — Howard Tenens, Ashby-de-la-Zouch

    Picked, packed, and safely stacked food products to meet daily targets. Loaded pallets and maintained health & safety compliance.

  3. Sales Staff — Makkah Food Store, Nottingham

    Served customers, handled POS, restocked shelves, and maintained store presentation. Assisted with ordering and promotions to increase weekly sales.

  4. Warehouse Operative & Mail Sorter — Royal Mail, Northampton

    Temporary work between university studies. Tracked, sorted, and loaded parcels; liaised with couriers to retrieve items; logged findings and created codes; provided handover updates to the next shift.
